Isn't this a cool collection Maryann of PrimPickers has displayed on the herb rack she purchased from Firecracker Kid Primitives? Cool cookie cutters too, cleverly displayed.

A close-up of the graters. I will be shopping her store again as there's all kind of those vintage and antique goodies we love to collect for our prim home decor.

I had made a buy at Maryann's store PrimPickers, these two old awesome butter stamps. Well, she then made a buy from my store, so there you have it, tit for tat! It was much fun and I made a new friend. Thanks for sharing your photos with us Maryann.

Custom Noodle Board

The customer did the finishing on this noodle board. Tim just made it to her measurements and left it unfinished. The board is setting on top of the stove top.

You know, we ladies love collecting our old kitchen utensils and such and some of them have a little rust on them. That's what gives them character. Well, this fine customer and ornery son purchased one of our rolling pin keeps, with the rusty cut nails, for his mother to display her old pins and hang her old metal kitchen utensils on.

I think it's pretty safe to say that Gina of Cat Nap Inn Primitives is fond of Firecracker Kid Primitives wood crafts. She has a peg rack, blanket crane, rolling pin dough bowl keep, and a candle sconce. If I've missed anything, let me know Gina :-)

Gina was the lucky winner of one of our giveaways where she won our reproduction Early American dough bowl keep. Although like most of us, she had difficulty deciding what to display in it.

She liked our one of a kind counter top rolling pin dough bowl keep so well that she even bought one as a gift for her neighbor friend.

Here's her peg rack with one of our wooden sconces. I love the little lites and pip berry garland she put on her peg rack, it looks so pretty in the dark. Underneath that there is the blanket crane with one of Gina's pretty quilts displayed.

I want to share some current photos of my big fur baby, Bugsy Malone and his gal pal Lily. As usual he looks his calm cool and collected self for his photo shoot. He is my handsome fella. I call them my woodshop hooligans, because sometimes when it's raining out, and during this heatwave, we allow them to go there to play in the sawdust or whatever kitties do in sawdust, ahem, I haven't seen any signs of it yet. But, Lily has found her way UP to the rafters in the woodshop so I don't know how much longer she'll be a woodshop hooligan. We don't want her making her way to the attic. Poor Lily. She's really been hard to get a good photo of lately with her allergy or whatever is the matter with her. She'll be going to visit the Dr. today and get that taken care of. Poor lil gal has to stop and scratch every few seconds, which doesn't allow much time to snap a good pic. She's looking out the window longing to go outside, but we've been keeping her inside to see if we can't get her healed up. I hope we can make her itchies go away. We'll keep our fingers crossed.

Woodshop Shenanigans Again

Well, here's what we've got. What ya think? That TV in the background will be resting on this ole repurposed 80's dresser. If you look real close you can see Lily giving it her inspection.

Okay, she's not completely finished yet, but I have put a couple coats of paint on her. A little more paint, sanding, distressing, and a good wax and she'll be ready to give her support to our big screen tv in our family room.

Woodshop Shenanigans

We are in the process of repurposing an old 80's dresser that came with a waterbed set we purchased. Yes, we had to experience the "waterbed" fad too. Our goal is to make it into a TV stand for our big screen tv, ya' know, so we don't have to buy one, which we couldn't afford to anyway with hubby outta work. Only makes sense to be frugal and repurpose an old dresser from the 80's right? I've been tryin' to convince hubby of this for awhile now and he has finally given in:)

Well here are some during photos with after photos to come. That would include hubby's work place in the background so brace yourselves. Yes, he will be decluttering when the weather cools. Go ahead and giggle, because I did when I first saw hubby's lift system he rigged up there, and notice he has a seat too so his old bones don't get too tired.

Actually the heat is horrendous right now in the garage even with the box fan blowing. He had to cut some of the bottom off to get the right height for our tv, and he saved the bottom trim to put back on after he cut off a bit. We're gonna leave the middle open and Tim will make doors for the side openings. I dunno, what ya think... still too 80's lookin'? Is it possible to get a Colonial look outta this? Constructive cristicisms welcome:)

They are two three month old adorable lil brothers, and they're all settled into their new abode. We call PeanutButter, Pnut for short and ButterScotch, Punkin' for short. Pnut hangs out with me so far and Punkin' is more independent, and our other kitty kats are adjusting quicker than I thought they would. Bugsy is the one with the most protest about the babies so I have to reassure him he is momma's big boy. They're my babies, that's for sure.
